Civil War? Blue vs. red on green

Michael Barone points out that the Waxman-Markey triumph in the House boils down to blue states (Northeast and West Coast) voting against red states (everywhere else) — to make one giant green state.

    Good bill, then, eh?

    Your reaction reminds me of trying to get a two-year-old to go to bed on a summer night. They’re completely exhausted, and the most important thing they can do is get some sleep, but they fight it tooth and nail.

    What is a frightening concept is that anyone must be dragged to saving money, and the planet.
